Regions :: Western Europe :: Germany Lanxess to Hike Cresols Capacity at Leverkusen7:50 AM MST | February 13, 2012 | Ian Young Lanxess says its advanced industrial intermediates business unit has decided to expand production capacity for cresols at Leverkusen by a further 20%. The €20-million project is due for completion in mid-2013. The company's current and planned capacity for cresols were not disclosed. Cresols are used widely in the production of vitamin E, resins, and flame retardants, and in the agchem sector.
