K+S restarts potash mine in Germany following October's fatal accident

K+S (Kassel, Germany) is today restarting production at the Unterbreizbach, Germany, potash mine. Operations at the mine were suspended on 1 October after three miners were killed after breathing leaked carbon dioxide following a controlled explosion there.     The restart follows an expansion of underground extraction operations to further parts of the mine in which the gas eruption occurred.
