K+S reduces size of executive board, extends contracts of chairman and CFO

Potash and magnesium products producer K+S (Kassel, Germany) has announced the extension of the contract of Norbert Steiner, chairman, until May 2017. His contract was scheduled to expire in May 2015. The supervisory board has, at the same time, extended the term of office of Burkhard Lohr, CFO, by five years, until May 2020. Meanwhile, following a career spanning more than 32 years, including service as a member of the board since October 2000, Gerd Grimmig will retire at the age of 61, when his contract expires on 30 September 2014.
