Germany's corporate tax rate in the top third in an international comparison

Germany's corporate tax rate puts it in the top third of countries in a comparison with the rest of Europe, according to a report "The tax burden of companies in Germany," presented in Berlin by the Federation of German Industries (BDI; Berlin) and the chemical industry association VCI (Frankfurt). Corporate tax payments will increase disproportionately from €112 billion ($148 billion) in 2012 to €134 billion in 2017, or almost 20%, according to BDI and VCI.
