Evonik Industries Hikes Global MMA Capacity

Evonik Industries has announced plans to add a combined 50,000-m.t./year methyl methacrylate (MMA) capacity at several of its plants, to meet rising demand.   The company will debottleneck its existing plants at Worms, and Wesseling, Germany; Caojing, China; and Fortier, LA during 2011 and 2012.
