EPCA Attracts Record Attendance; International Year of Chemistry High on the Agenda

The European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) annual meeting has once again broken attendance records. EPCA president and Ineos group director Tom Crotty, opening the 45th EPCA annual meeting in Berlin today, confirmed that the event has attracted more than 2,500 registered delegates, a bigger turnout than ever before.  The theme of this year’s EPCA event, ‘The Chemical Industry: over 95% of the World Around us,’ is closely linked to the International Year of Chemistry (IYC) 2011, with which EPCA is a global partner. “It’s...
