Dow Signs MOI with Gazprom for Potential Petrochem Complex

Dow Chemical says it has signed a memorandum of intent with the world's largest gas producer Gazprom (Moscow) and Gazprom's petchem subsidiary Sibur (Moscow) to evaluate potential opportunities using Russia's natural gas capacity. Dow says it is looking into several projects, including the construction of a world-scale petrochemical complex in Russia; a gas processing unit in Germany; as well as others that rely on natural gas deposits in the Yamalo-Nenets region of Russia.
