Cognis Considers Sale of Process Chemicals Business

Cognis says it has appointed investment banking firm Lincoln International (Chicago) to “conduct a review” of M&A options for Cognis’s process chemicals business, Pulcra Chemicals (Düsseldorf). Cognis carved out Pulcra in July as a separate legal company so that Cognis can focus on its nutrition and health, functional chemicals, and oleochemicals businesses (CW, July 4/11, p. 9).
