Regions :: Western Europe :: Germany Cognis Considers Sale of Process Chemicals Business1:51 PM MDT | September 14, 2007 | Kerri Walsh Cognis says it has appointed investment banking firm Lincoln International (Chicago) to “conduct a review” of M&A options for Cognis’s process chemicals business, Pulcra Chemicals (Düsseldorf). Cognis carved out Pulcra in July as a separate legal company so that Cognis can focus on its nutrition and health, functional chemicals, and oleochemicals businesses (CW, July 4/11, p. 9). Cognis says it is too early to say when the review process for Pulcra will be completed. Pulcra manufactures chemicals for the fiber, textile, and leather...
