Braskem Signs Deal with Tecnaro for Green Plastic

Braskem (São Paulo) says it has signed a contract with Tecnaro (Ilsfeld, Germany), for a new line of green polyethylene (PE) applications. Tecnaro is a company that works with renewable resources to develop, produce and market biopolymers and biocompounds. Tecnaro will produce compounds using Braskem's green PE, a biopolymer made from sugarcane ethanol, in its series called Arboblend, which is a biopolymer compound that can be processed, depending on the formula, by injection molding, extrusion or thermoforming. “The goal of this partnership is to...
