Bayer MaterialScience to build production line at Dormagen to produce CO2-based polyols

Bayer MaterialScience (BMS), following a successful test phase and promising market analysis, plans to invest €15 million ($20.5 million) in the construction of a production line at the company’s site at Dormagen, Germany, which will use carbon dioxide (CO2) to produce polyols, a precursor for polyurethane (PU) foam.
