Bayer CropScience and Cellectis plant sciences extend partnership to improve crops by gene editing

Bayer says that its Bayer CropScience subgroup has signed two new agreements with Cellectis plant sciences (New Brighton, MN) on gene editing in plants. Cellectis plant sciences, which was established in 2010, is a subsidiary of biotech company Cellectis (Paris). The agreements extend the companies’ existing partnership to introduce targeted modifications to selected plant genes and genomes, Bayer says.
