BASF replacing Engelhorn building at Ludwigshafen site

BASF recently announced that it will construct a new office building for 600 employees at its Ludwigshafen headquarters. The company had posted an architecture competition for the design of the new building, which has been won by Eller + Eller Architects (Düsseldorf). The new building is to replace the Friedrich Engelhorn building, named after the company’s founder and which is being demolished on safety grounds. “The draft is architecturally attractive, functional, and reflects the needs of our company,” says Friedrich Seitz...
