BASF opens its first PU applications technology center in Russia

BASF says it has opened its first applications technology center for polyurethane (PU) systems in Russia. The center is at Vsevolozhsk, near Saint Petersburg. The site will be a part of the BASF joint venture Elastokam with OAO Nizhnekamskneftechim (Nizhnekamsk, Russia). It is Elastokam's second site, following a systems house at Nizhnekamsk that went into operation in 2000.
