BASF lifts force majeure on citral derivatives

BASF has lifted its declaration of force majeure on citral-based aroma chemicals, as well as vitamin A and vitamin E products for human and animal nutrition, at Ludwigshafen, the company announced today. A fire caused by a technical equipment failure at BASF's citral plant at Ludwigshafen on 12 March forced the company to shut the plant and declare force majeure.
