BASF invests €50 million to build laboratory at Ludwigshafen

BASF says it is constructing a laboratory building on a 46,284-sq feet area, close to gate 7 in the south of its Ludwigshafen complex. The new laboratory will employ a workforce of about 200 research scientists from several specialties, and it will provide "ideal conditions" for an even closer cooperation between material physicists and additive, formulation, and polymer researchers, BASF says.
