BASF doubles non-phthalate plasticizer capacity at Ludwigshafen

BASF has doubled capacity of its non-phthalate plasticizer at Ludwigshafen, the company announced today. The company increased capacity for its Hexamoll Dinch–branded plasticizer from 100,000 m.t./year, to 200,000 m.t./year. The plant has restarted, and the expanded capacity is available, BASF says. The non-phthalate plasticizer has been especially developed for applications with close human contact.
