Hermann Althoff. BASF says it has appointed François Desné as senior v.p. of global water, oilfield and mining solutions, based at Ludwigshafen, Germany, effective 1 April. Desné succeeds Steffen Kudis, who will assume responsibility for BASF’s global strategic management and new business development unit, performance chemicals.
