BASF Hikes Pharma Ingredients Prices by 10%

BASF says it will increase the sale price of its pharmaceutical excipients and generic active pharma ingredients (API) by 10% worldwide. It is the second time this year that the company has introduced such a price hike. The price hikes are necessary “due to the continued rise in costs for raw materials, energy and labor,” the company says.
