Operating income rose 1%, to €172.9 million. Sales rose across all divisions, but gains were partially offset by rising raw material costs, the company says. Altana expects second-half sales growth to slow down compared to first-half rates. The full-year 2011 Ebitda margin “should remain below the prior-year figure” of 20.5% because of the raw materials cost increases, the company says. ...
