Albemarle Increases HBCD Flame Retardant, Citing CDT Shortage

Albemarle announced it is increasing its Saytex HP-900 (hexabromocyclododecane; HBCD) brominated flame retardant prices globally by 20% effective immediately, citing rising prices and supply volatility for cyclododecatreine (CDT).
