SGL Group Posts Higher First-Quarter Sales but Lower Profits

SGL Group (Wiesbaden, Germany) says sales for the first quarter of 2012 increased 5% year over year, to €382 million ($503 million), driven by the performances of the graphite materials and systems, and carbon fibers and composites business units.
