Wilmar aquires Huntsman's European commodity surfactants business

Huntsman says that agribusiness group Wilmar International (Singapore) has completed the previously announced acquisition of Huntsman’s European commodity surfactants business. Financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed. Plans for the sale were first announced in April. Huntsman, under the terms of the agreement, has sold to Wilmar its ethoxylation facility at Lavéra, France. Wilmar has also entered into a multiyear arrangement to purchase certain sulfated surfactant products from Huntsman’s facilities at St. Mihiel, France; and...
