Solvay, CDC Climat, Marubeni join forces to offer energy efficiency solutions

Solvay Energy Services, a business unit of Solvay; CDC Climat (Paris), a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts (Paris); and Marubeni (Tokyo) have formed a joint venture to finance and operate an energy efficiency project at Solvay's rare earth plant at La Rochelle, France. Following this first project, the jv partners aim to further develop this on a larger scale to assist industrial sites in reducing their energy consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
