SNPE to Sell Isochem

SNPE (Paris) has confirmed that the company will sell its Isochem fine chemicals business to private equity firm Aurelius (Munich) (CW, Dec. 21/28, 2009, p. 16). The purchase price and terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but recent French press reports say that SNPE has agreed to sell Isochem to Aurelius for €8 million ($11 million), and to write off €50 million of Isochem debt.
