SNPE Confirms Sale of Isochem

SNPE (Paris) says that private equity firm Aurelius (Munich) will acquire SNPE’s fine chemicals business Isochem. The purchase price and the terms of the agreement were not disclosed. According to French press reports earlier this month, SNPE agreed to sell Isochem to Aurelius for €8 million, and to write off €50 million of Isochem debt as part of the agreement.
