Regions :: Western Europe :: France Roquette and Evolva to Jointly Develop Biofermentation Route to Food Ingredient12:05 PM MST | January 10, 2012 | Rebecca Coons Synthetic biology firm Evolva (Reinach, Switzerland) says it has partnered with Roquette Frères (Lestrem, France) to develop a biosynthetic route to an undisclosed ingredient “with important applications in food products.” The joint research and development effort will run for 4.5 years and include the application of Evolva’s technology to improve fermentation routes, strain improvement, and pilot scale-up.
