Rhodia’s Stock Price Falls on Rumors

Clamadieu: Rumors are ‘unfounded.’ Rhodia’s stock price fell almost 14% in morning trading on June 7, and rebounded to €2.79/share at the close of day on June 8. The company says it cannot explain why the price fell so sharply. Rhodia says it has requested the AMF, the French stock exchange regulator, to investigate the price movement in its shares and why its stock traded at significant volumes.
