Rhodia's Net Income Soars on Improved Selling Prices

Rhodia reported first-quarter 2011 net income more than doubled, to €151 million ($225 million), on sales up 28%, to €1.5 billion. Organic volume grew 9%, and overall selling prices jumped 13%. Rhodia’s recent Feixiang acquisition also contributed to sales growth, the company says.
