French bioolefins company raises €23 million via share issue

Global Bioenergies (Evry, France), a developer of light olefin bioproduction processes, says it has closed a share issue that it launched on 27 June, raising a total of €23 million ($30.1 million). The company decided to excercise fully an extension clause and created 927,419 new shares. The total order was for 1.15 million ordinary shares, amounting to approximately €28.6 million and representing a subscription rate of 143%, the company says.
