Court approves joint takeover of PVC firm Kem One

The business activities of beleaguered polyvinyl chloride (PVC) producer Kem One (Lyon, France) will be run jointly by businessman Alain de Krassny and buyout firm OpenGate Capital (Los Angeles), the Commercial Court of Lyon decided today, Kem One says. The two bidders said earlier this week that they would merge their offers. Kem One went into administration earlier this year. “Through this alliance, we can capitalize on our respective strengths to optimize both the strategic and industrial view of this PVC activity," says Julien Lagrèze...
