Brenntag Buys French Distributor

Brenntag has acquired the chemical distribution business of Metausel (Strasbourg, France), the companies announced today. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Metausel operates in the painting, construction, pharmaceutical, and water treatment markets, among others. The company primarily does business in the Alsace-Lorraine region of France.
