Bain Capital Prepares to Divest Novacap

Private equity firm Bain Capital is preparing to put Novacap (Lyon, France) up for sale, reports say. Bain acquired Novacap from Rhodia in 2002. Novacap has three businesses: Novacarb, which makes soda ash; Novacid, producing hydrochloric acid; and Novapex, making cumene, phenol, and acetone.
