BASF to divest liquid masterbatch business in France to Audia International

BASF says it has signed an agreement to divest its liquid masterbatch business at Clermont de l’Oise, France, to Audia International, a large global supplier of polyolefins and color masterbatches. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2014. Liquid masterbatches are a niche business and not part of BASF’s future focus, the company says.
