Arkema to Offload Chlor-Alkali and PVC Business to Private Equity Firm

Arkema announced today that it has agreed to offload its vinyl products business to private equity firm Klesch Group (London), which specializes in the development of commodity-related activities. This includes Arkema's chlor-alkali and derivatives, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) activities. The move forms part of Arkema’s strategy to refocus its operations on specialty chemicals.
