Arkema to Manufacture Chemeq's Antimicrobial Polymer

Arkema says it has signed a manufacturing co-operation agreement with Chemeq Technologies (Perth, Australia) under which Arkema will produce Chemeq's "breakthrough" polymeric antimicrobial compound poly (2-propenal, 2-propenoic acid) from glycerol, a renewable raw material. Chemeq Technologies will market the PPPA product, which will be used in the personal care, pharmaceutical and industrial markets.  Chemeq Technologies will sell PPPA in personal care applications under the Cereese trademark.
