Arkema reports lower Ebitda in fourth quarter and full year, outlines investments

Arkema today reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2013 results and said it is confident to grow Ebitda in 2014.  Adjusted net income from continuing operations in the fourth quarter was up 4.5% to €46 million ($63.3 million) on sales down 2.5% to €1.41 billion. Ebitda was down 5.3% to €162 million and fourth-quarter Ebitda margin was 11.5% compared with 11.8% in the year-earlier period.   The company warned in January that it will not reach its Ebitda projections of €920 million in 2013.
