Arkema Receives Approval of State Aid for French Site Reorganization

Arkema says the European Competition authorities have approved an aid package for its previously announced Technological Risk Prevention Plan devised for the Jarrie, France manufacturing site. Arkema will go ahead with a study to reorganize the chlorochemicals and hydrogen peroxide activities at Jarrie. Among the main objectives is the conversion of the mercury cell chlorine production process to membrane technology.
