Arkema Outlines Future Growth Plans, Splits Operations into Three Businesses

Arkema at today’s Investor Day meeting in Paris outlined its transformation progress to date, confirmed previously announced 2016 targets and provided a road map to 2020. Thierry Le Hénaff, chairman and CEO, said that Arkema’s ambition is to become a leader in speciality chemicals and advanced materials. He confirmed that the company plans to raise sales to €8 billion ($10.45 billion) in 2016, achieve an Ebitda margin of 16%, and keep gearing below 40%.
