The acquisition enhances Arkema's portfolio with a new range of ultra high performance materials with potential high added value applications in sectors such as robotics, aerospace, textile, automotive and electronics, the company says. Piezotech was established following a technology transfer from Institut de Recherche Saint-Louis (Saint-Louis, France), a Franco-German institute for science and defense.
