Air Liquide acquires stake in three technology start-ups

Aliad, Air Liquide’s strategic venture capital investor, has made equity investments in three start-ups—McPhy Energy, Solumix, and Xylowatt—Air Liquide says. French company McPhy, which was founded in 2008, develops generators that produce hydrogen by water electrolysis and hydrogen storage in solid magnesium hydride. To favor the use of hydrogen in the energy market, McPhy provides industrial users and renewable energy producers with concrete solutions for energy production and storage, Air Liquide says.
