Air Liquide Reports Rise in Sales; Sees Volumes Returning to Pre-Crisis Levels

Air Liquide reported a 15% increase in sales for the third quarter of 2010 compared with the same period of 2009, to €3.4 billion. Earnings were not disclosed. Sales by the company's gas and services division increased 11%, to €3 billion. Monthly activity levels reached a year-to-date high in September, characterized by strong sales momentum in developing economies and a recovery in advanced economies.
