Regions :: Western Europe :: France Air Liquide Posts Higher First-Half Earnings and Sales5:35 AM MDT | August 1, 2011 | Ian Young Air Liquide posted an 11% increase in net profits for the first half of 2011 compared with the same period of last year, to €750 million on sales up 9%, to €7.1 billion. First-half operating profits increased almost 10%, to €1.2 billion. Second-quarter figures were not disclosed. Results were boosted by new investments, and business in emerging markets, Air Liquide says.
