Reverdia starts up world's first large-scale biobased succinic acid plant

Reverdia, a joint venture between DSM and Roquette Frères (Lestrem, France), has started operations at the world’s first large-scale plant for biobased succinic acid at Cassano Spinola, Italy, the company announced today.
