R&H Completes Emulsions Purchase

Rohm and Haas (R&H) says it has completed its acquisition of Finndisp (Hanko, Finland), the water-based emulsions business of Oy Forcit (Hanko), for approximately €60 million ($85 million). The deal includes a plant at Hanko and a facility currently under construction at Ramenskoye, Russia (CW, Jan. 21, p. 7).
