Kemira reports widening fourth-quarter loss as restructuring continues

Kemira (Helsinki) today reported a fourth-quarter net loss of €48.7 million ($66.06 million) compared with a net loss of €40.4 million in the year-earlier period. Revenues were down 2% to €545.2 million, due to unfavorable currency exchange rates. Full-year net loss stood at €25.9 million compared with a net profit of €22.4 million in 2012.
