Kemira Lowers Forecast for Full Year Citing Lower Demand

Kemira said this morning that its revenues and operating result for the whole of this year will be lower than first forecast. The company says that following a lower than expected volume demand in the fourth quarter of 2011, and high raw material prices, full year revenues are expected to be the same as in 2010 and the full year earnings before interest and tax (Ebit) the same or “slightly lower than in 2010.” Capital expenditure is expected to be approximately €100 million in 2011.
