Regions :: Western Europe :: Finland Kemira Looks to Wash its Hands of Water Engineering Business10:01 AM MDT | August 13, 2008 | Alex Scott Kemira said earlier today that it plans to sell its Galvatek (Lahti, Finland) engineering business, which provides engineering services mostly to water treatment plants. Galvatek has 33 staff and recorded sales in 2007 of about €16 million ($24 million). Galvatek runs two subsidiaries; one in Sweden; and another in Poland. Kemira did not disclose how much it hopes to raise from the sale of the business.
