ECHA examines first wave of proposals to test substances

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) says it examined all proposals to test substances submitted by the first registration deadline of the European Union's Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) legislation and issued draft or final decisions to companies by the legal deadline of 1 December 2012.
