Regions :: Western Europe :: Finland CABB Buys Custom Manufacturing Firm12:29 PM MDT | June 22, 2011 | Kerri Walsh Fine and specialty chemical producer CABB (Suzbach/Taunus, Germany) has agreed to buy KemFine (Helsinki), a custom manufacturer of fine chemicals, from private equity firm 3i. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. KemFine’s focus is on intermediates and active ingredients mainly for the agrochemicals market. KemFine’s production site is at Kokkola, Finland. The company reported sales of €81 million ($117 million) last year. The deal expands CABB’s market share in the global agrochemical custom manufacturing sector...
