Biesterfeld to distribute Solvay's polysulfones in Nordic region

Solvay Specialty Polymers Italy (Milan), a wholly owned subsidiary of Solvay; and Biesterfeld Plastic (Hamburg) have reached an agreement for Biesterfeld Nordic (Malmö, Sweden) to distribute Solvay's polysulfones in Scandinavia and Finland, Biesterfeld has announced. Sulfone polymers are amorphous thermoplastics that are tougher, stronger, and more hydrolytically stable than other transparent plastics, Biesterfeld says.
